Wooden spool illustrations and thread reel shapes give these sewing fussy cuts an old haberdashery character. Sepia and cream sit alongside muted thread colours, while engraved details, faded marks and softly distressed edges add an aged finish. Light backgrounds remain around the artwork for hand cutting; these are illustrated paper embellishments rather than transparent clipart.
Frame sewing photographs with trimmed reels in a scrapbook, tuck spool accents into dressmaking journal pockets, or arrange them beside pattern scraps in a textile collage. Their needlework theme also suits handmade cards for sewing enthusiasts.
