Faded vertical and horizontal stripes give these tags and journal pages a Victorian wallpaper character. Sage green, dusty blue, cream, faded gold and sepia combine with torn edges, foxing and coffee-stain effects to suggest weathered interiors and aged decorative paper.
Use the striped pages as an altered-book backdrop, then tuck a matching tag into a journal pocket for a note. For a vintage scrapbook, layer the weathered papers behind interior photographs or family memories without obscuring the central subject.
