Victorian girl illustrations are presented in a patchwork fabric style, with stitched textures, plaid patterns and soft pastel autumn tones. Historical fashion and quilt-inspired details draw on childhood portraits, storybooks and heirloom textiles. These are illustrated paper cutouts with a textile aesthetic, rather than fabric pieces.
Add a figure to a heritage scrapbook beside a childhood memory, build a textile-themed journal spread around the stitching effects, or make a cottage-inspired greeting card. The characters can also become focal pieces in a storybook paper collage.
