Mystic Museum specimen papers combine natural-history subjects in layered vintage collages. Fossil sketches, insect study labels, depictions of pressed flowers and moss, and glass apothecary jars sit among faded map fragments and handwritten correspondence. Worn parchment backgrounds and richly distressed textures evoke antique museum archives and Victorian science collections.
Use a paper as the opening spread of a curiosity journal, build a natural-history scrapbook page around your own observations, or cut sections into an altered-book collage. The specimen imagery provides a visual connection between botanical, geological, and archival themes within the same project.
