These vintage insect junk journal pages layer butterflies, moths, beetles and other insect forms with botanical details and faded manuscript textures. The full-page compositions have a specimen-inspired look, but the artwork is decorative rather than a current scientific identification guide.
Ideas for nature journaling and collage
Use a page behind notes from a nature walk, add wildlife photographs in a journal or scrapbook, or trim a small section for a collage. Leave your captions on a clear panel or beside the artwork for easy reading. These backgrounds also pair with journaling supplies and scrapbook supplies for a natural-history spread.
The download contains 50 separate full-page PNG designs. Some pages place several insects in one composition; the files are page backgrounds, not individual cutout images. Print the designs as digital paper or trim a section to use like scrapbook paper. They add a natural-history theme to junk journal supplies and arrive as a digital download; no printed pages are shipped.
