Multicolor polka dots appear on cream backgrounds in these distressed journal pages. Worn grunge textures take their influence from mixed media painting, giving the repeating pattern a weathered appearance rather than a flat, clean-edged finish. The design provides pattern without introducing a particular figurative subject.
Use the papers as backgrounds in a junk journal, mat photographs in a scrapbook, or cut strips for card making. They also work as supporting layers in paper collage, where the dots can contrast with your own text scraps or illustrations.
