Mottled color, rubbed edges and faded painted marks give this grunge digital paper a worn surface. The distressed junk journal backgrounds balance quieter areas with rougher texture for a simple, weathered look.

This grunge digital paper focuses on color and surface texture rather than detailed motifs. Faded patches, darkened edges and rubbed-back painted marks give the backgrounds a weathered feel, with some pages keeping a quieter center and others carrying stronger distressing across the surface.
Use the distressed scrapbook paper as a base for junk journal spreads, photo layouts and mixed-media collage. Layer it beneath portraits, botanical ephemera or handwritten notes, or cut strips and smaller pieces for textured borders and journal pockets.
