Worn marks and faded tones create the weathered appearance of these tea-stained journal backgrounds. Natural-looking aging effects and distressed surfaces keep the focus on paper texture, offering an unobtrusive vintage base rather than a composition dominated by illustrated objects or lettering.
Use the worn paper as a junk journal base, place a scrapbook memory over its faded areas, or tear sections for a grunge collage. Vary your own added layers while leaving some distressed marks visible to retain the aged effect.
