Dark gothic Victorian journal pages feature dramatic women’s portraits, black dresses and lace details against distressed collage backgrounds. Flowers, skull accents and aged script appear among the designs, while colorful glitch-like overlays contrast with the antique-inspired clothing. Some papers focus on background textures rather than a portrait; this is decorative artwork, not a collection of historical documents.
Dark Gothic Art Journal and Portrait Collage Ideas
Write a fictional character fragment on your own note panel, or build an altered-book collage around a striking face. Keep the portrait visible and add a plain caption area beside the busy printed layers. A floral detail or narrow strip of distressed texture can connect facing pages without covering the central figure. Browse the journal pages collection for more printable backgrounds.
