Damask and fleur-de-lis patterns give these French wallpaper tags and labels their Victorian-inspired character. Faded ornate backgrounds, foxing, coffee-stained details and torn-looking edges create an aged paper appearance, with cream, dusty blue, antique gold, sage and sepia among the muted tones.
Attach a label beside a scrapbook photograph, layer tags into an altered-book spread, or decorate a junk journal pocket. For card making, an ornamental piece can sit beneath your own greeting, carrying the wallpaper pattern into a smaller composition without requiring a full patterned background.
