Black textured surfaces and white scratch details give these printable junk journal pages a worn-film appearance. Rough marks, faded streaks and surface imperfections echo aged prints and distressed materials, creating a dark background rather than a decorative scene. The monochrome treatment keeps attention on texture and contrast.
Layer pale ephemera over the pages in a grunge journal, use them to frame photographs in a scrapbook, or tear strips for an abstract paper collage. They also offer a contrasting base for card making with your own light-coloured lettering.
