Description
Vintage butterfly fussy cuts feature detailed wings in cream, warm yellow, sepia and dark brown, with touches of orange and red. Fine veins, contrasting borders and varied spots give each design its own character. Some butterflies appear with pale paper edges or aged background fragments, and selected artwork includes smaller companion motifs. The style recalls antique entomology illustration, but the designs are decorative rather than verified species records.
Print these fussy cuts for botanical journals, garden scrapbooks, nature-themed cards or specimen-style collages. Let a single butterfly stand out against a quiet background, or use the collage sheets when combining several wing patterns. Pair this printable ephemera with vintage wildflower journal pages for a meadow theme, or Victorian greenhouse spreads for layered botanical scenery. The artwork has opaque white or pale paper backgrounds for hand cutting; it is not supplied as transparent PNG or SVG cutting files.
