Watercolor diagonal grids give these plaid journal pages a softly painted look. Blended colors and varied combinations create patterned backgrounds with visible movement across the checks. The collection centers on the grid itself, making it useful when you want decorative paper without a separate illustrated subject.
Cut a narrow strip for a scrapbook border, place a photograph on a larger plaid panel, or layer the pattern beneath plain card lettering. Keeping some of your added pieces unpatterned can make captions easier to read while allowing the diagonal checks to frame the composition.
