Layered wildflowers and textured paper collage give these botanical journal pages their mixed-media character. The compositions draw on masterboard-style artwork, combining decorative material into a printed background. Floral subjects remain the focus while the paper textures add the appearance of an assembled handmade surface.
Use a full page for a botanical art journal spread, place photographs over the collage in a scrapbook, or cut smaller sections for card panels. Cropping different parts of the design lets you decide whether the flowers or the textured paper layers lead your finished composition.
