1. Licence granted
Each purchase grants the named customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the supplied files under the product listing and this licence. Copyright and all rights not expressly granted remain with ShadowHero Crafts or the identified rights holder.
2. Personal use
Personal use is free. You may download and keep a personal backup, resize for your own project, and print copies for your own junk journals, scrapbooks, cards, collages and paper crafts. You may give a completed handmade project as a personal gift, but you may not give the reusable digital files.
3. Creative physical projects
You may use the artwork without a commercial licence when you create a genuinely new and substantially transformed physical project, such as a junk journal, scrapbook, handmade card, craft, physical artwork or other handmade creation. The artwork must be incorporated into your own creative work and must not be offered as the original artwork or a minimally changed substitute.
4. Commercial and direct-printing licences
If you want to sell the artwork itself, sell direct printed copies, or commercially sell a result with only minor edits, purchase the appropriate licence for each listing/design:
- Limited Commercial Licence — $5 per listing: up to 100 finished printings for one listing/design.
- Unlimited Commercial Licence — $20 per listing: unlimited printings for one listing/design, valid for one year.
Commercial permission applies only to the listing/design covered by the licence. It does not transfer copyright or permit sharing, resale or redistribution of the original digital files.
5. Minor edits do not create free commercial use
Small colour adjustments, minor cropping, simple background changes, small alterations, minimal text changes, minor resizing and other edits that do not substantially transform the artwork do not qualify as free commercial use. If you commercially sell such a result, purchase the appropriate commercial licence first.
6. Uses that are not permitted
- Sharing, gifting, sublicensing, reselling or redistributing the original files or a link to them.
- Selling substantially unchanged digital files, printable sheets, collage sheets, image packs or printed sheets that compete with the original product.
- Uploading the files to shared drives, design-resource sites, stock libraries, KDP interiors, print-on-demand or automated production services unless a listing expressly permits it.
- Making a digital end product from which another person can extract, edit or reuse the supplied artwork.
- Using the files as a trademark, logo, registered design, unlawful content or training data for an artificial-intelligence model.
- Claiming the original artwork or supplied files as your own creation.
7. Product-specific terms
A product listing may grant additional rights or impose narrower limits. Product-specific terms take priority for that product. If your intended use is not clearly permitted, contact us and obtain written permission before purchasing or using the files.
8. Ending the licence
The licence ends automatically if you materially breach it and do not correct the breach where correction is possible. You must then stop the prohibited use and delete unlawfully shared copies. Termination does not remove payment, intellectual-property or enforcement rights that arose earlier, and does not affect a mandatory consumer remedy for the purchased product.
