Whimsical junk journal pages feature grandmother characters with expressive faces, patterned aprons and distinctive little hats. Soft watercolor details sit alongside pencil-like shading, old text fragments and layered paper scraps. Some journal pages feel homely and colorful, while others use darker clothing and a more eccentric, storybook mood.
Use the digital paper for a character-led junk journal, a family-story scrapbook or a humorous handmade book. Pair the figures with imagined dialogue, remembered recipes or personal anecdotes, then layer the scrapbook paper with handwritten notes and ephemera. The individual characters also provide focal points for mixed-media collage and altered-book spreads.
