Vintage mushroom cutouts show red, cream and brown caps with detailed stems and woodland textures. Most of the collection has a botanical illustration style, with aged-paper effects, pale borders and drawn shadows. A pixel-art variation is also included, so the set is not entirely one illustration style.
Paper projects with mushroom cutouts
Use a larger mushroom as the main image on a nature journal cover, or tuck a smaller print beside a photograph from a woodland walk. The muted colours work with cream paper and leaf patterns. For a handmade card, leave a plain area beside the cap for a short message rather than placing writing over the detailed gills.
There are 23 JPG artwork files in the download. Six marketing composites are excluded from this total. Choose the individual artwork file you want to print; the preview collages show several designs together and do not add to the stated count.
These images have backgrounds and are not transparent PNG files. To use a mushroom as a paper cutout, print it and trim around the shape, keeping or removing the pale border as you prefer. The canvas dimensions below describe the whole image, not the height of the mushroom inside it. Check the print scale before trimming so the finished piece fits your journal pocket or card. For backgrounds to pair with these printable junk journal supplies, see the journal pages collection.
